Comments about Mustang Wide Touring Seat:

With the stock V Star 1100 seat my fiancée and I were in misery after one hour in the saddle. We could not believe the difference in comfort and support the Mustang seat provides. Definitely worth the money.

Comments about Mustang Wide Touring Seat:

It is easy to install, but wish they made a solo seat for a Honda Shadow Aero.I'm 5'2" tall and I now have to add riser pullbacks to my handlebars as the seat sits me back to far and I can barely touch the ground while sitting on my bike,as the seat also raises you up at least an inch.Be aware of this if you are a shorter woman as I am. Otherwise the seat is very comfortable!

Comments about Mustang Wide Touring Seat:

I have used Mustang seats since I bought by first H-D in 2006. H-D stock seats are poor in comparison. Mustang has a seat for every H-D model that is superior to stock. Further 3rd-party customization has never been a requirement. I have 94,000 miles on my 05 Road King. You can't go wrong.

Comments about Mustang Wide Touring Seat:

This saddle looks terrific and installs in just a few minutes (the time it takes to loosen and re-install two bolts). It's incredibly comfortable and turns a cruiser into a long distance tour-er almost instantly. It is wider than the stock seat, so riders with short legs may have problems, but that would be the only possible downside.

Does this seat really fits to a Kawasaki 1500cc Drifter?
I have been out looking for a seat now for a long time, included Mustang seats. Maybe I'm blind...

          • Q:

I have a Honda 1998 vt1100c3 and am interested in the Mustang seat. I am 6' tall and weigh 240 lbs.
Will I be cramped on this seat? Will it reduce the amount of legroom I have vs the stock seat?
Also, does the seat accept a removable backrest? I'm trying to decide between the Mustang touring seat and the Corbin solo seat.
