    Great Buy

    By Halfa

    from Australia

Comments about National Cycle SwitchBlade 2-Up Windshield:

Got my Switchblade 2 Up screens from US to Australia in 5 working days which was just great. They fit easily and look great on the bikes. Only one problem though. One spider attatchment broke before it reached the required 8.6 Nm of torque on one of the screens. Have requested a replacement. Very happy with the other one and it stops the wind buffeting against your chest at speed. Makes riding my Honda VT750 even more of a pleasure. Be smart and get one.

    Service and delivery comments:

I have found the site to be a great source of bike parts. Also a lot cheaper and top quality, even with overseas freight added.

Comments about National Cycle SwitchBlade 2-Up Windshield:

This windshield is great! Quick on and off, but sometimes I worry about that because the mount for my VTX-1800 doesn't have any way to lock it on the bike. That means making sure the alarm is armed. Even after 5 years, it hasn't scratched or became any less clear than the day I bought it.

Comments about National Cycle SwitchBlade 2-Up Windshield:

Bike Bandit helped me out when three others gave me the run around, even my dealer didn't help me. They matched my bike perfectly with a windshield and hardware. Quick delivery ( Three days across the country unbelivable.) Instulation was very easy , took about 1hr. Paid a little more but fits and looks great. Makes my 2002 look new. Well worth the money. THANK YOU.

Comments about National Cycle SwitchBlade 2-Up Windshield:

commuting 125 miles a day, this was a necessary purchase. I was always on the fence about buying a windshield due to all of the buffeting comments that where posted. I am 6'4 and get very minimal buffeting with this shield, and fits perfect.

              A:

Thank you for your question. There is hardware permanently (can be removed if desired) mounted by clamps to the side of the fork assemblies. The windshield will dismount leaving the hardware on the forks. Removal of the windshield takes only seconds.

I want to make sure I am getting everything I need. Does this product come already with the quick release hardware for the 2004 2000cc Vulcan, or do I have to order it separate? The description is a little confusing. I need the whole thing.

I see in the comments that people are talking about the mounting kit. This doesn't include that kit? I have stock Yamaha windshield on my 2001 V-star 1100 Classic. Can I use that mounting kit if not included with this windshield?
            Thanks,
