This is the shield that started it all! Although there have been a few design changes, this is the same aerodynamic shield that Slipstreamer is known for. It has been designed for maximum wind protection, and it is lightweight with high visibility and performance. It has rounded styling to cut wind noise and adverse air flow and a cushioned headlight seal that fits both round and square headlights. It measures 21-1/2"H x 35"W Hands x 19"W (Body). Comments about Slipstreamer S-03 "The Original" Windshield:
Previously had a 20 year windshield and the bike was irritatingly a little twitchy on the road. Two of the attach points were broken and only partially holding keeping the windshield in place but allowing a small wiggle (1/8 inch). I could not get a bonding agent to work so I bought a new windshield and the bike handling is vastly improved and very superior. I did not realize that a little movement on the windshield would make so much difference.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

S-03 on an '05 Ural Patrol
from Tabernash Colorad
The S-03 installed just fine on my 2005 Ural Patrol with the included hardware. Every thing seems to be holding well so far but it's only got maybe 75 miles on it so far. There is a good amount of adjustment allowed by the mounting hardware that lets the whole thing move during setup to work around the features of the bike, such as the ignition switch on the side of the headlap on mine. I bought the S-03 primarily due to the width of the hand guards since this bike is for winter use, and they cover quite nicely. Definitely better than the S-28 I replaced (after breaking it after removal to do some work). I was a little concerned that the height would be too high, but it's worked out quite well. Still low enough not to be in my sight line, but still provides a larger air pocket.
Great product for the price
from Dundee, New York
I mounted this on my old XS 400 Yamaha. It is just what I wanted for a little wind break for the cold mornings. I am using the bike to go to work.

Make the ride more comfortable
from Dunkirk, NY
I bought this windsheild for my Honda Magna V30 as recommended. The size and shape really fits well. I don't ride much at night so I suggest getting the tinted version. Wish I had. The clear has a little bit of a glare. It took a moment to understand the directions but once having the bike next to you and the windshield set on, it is pretty easy to install.[...]
