Beware of Bikebandit
from Sanford, FL
Comments about Goodridge Banjo Bolt:
I ordered 2 of these banjo bolts and a Goodridge brake line to go with it. Bikebandit sent me the 2 bolts, but one had a male end (as it should) and the other had a female end. You do not have the option to choose WHICH TYPE of end for these bolts, and there is no hint that these bolts even come in a female end type. Now I'm forced to order a male-male adapter to make it work.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Fitting may vary, description incomplete

The fittings themselves are good, but you're going to want to call to order so you can verify what fittings you're getting. There is nothing on the website to indicate whether a part has a male fitting or female fitting. I ordered 3 fittings, two were male (as they should be to work with the hoses you buy here), and one had a female fitting. The package listed it as an adaptor, the website showed absolutely nothing to distinguish this. Because Bike Bandit screwed up on this they handled the return well.

This is not the only time I've used Bike Bandit. Every time I order, the sales folks are super helpful and my order is promptly shipped and correct. Not the cheapest on the net, but good service is worth an extra dollar or so. Order with confidence....
Looks and feels solid

You must know that the banjo bolts add almost 1" to the length of your installed brake line. They assembled easily to the Goodridge DOT brake line. Not much torque needed. The degree of bend is also important. I used a carpenters framing square (plastic triangle with degrees marked on the long side) to determine what to order. Really needed a more exact way to feel comfortable when ordering, but it worked.See my related review for Goodridge DOT brake lines for more details. The product information is lacking. An image is needed for each separate banjo bolt being offered along with the installed length (center of banjo circle to end of related brake line - about 1").
