Comments about Goodridge Universal Brake Line Clear Coat W/ Chrome Ends:

Replaced OEM brake lines and connections with Goodridge lines and banjo bolts. Amazing how much more sensitive the brakes are to the slightest pull on the brake lever. Stops are so much more controllable.

Comments about Goodridge Universal Brake Line Clear Coat W/ Chrome Ends:

I used this to replace the stock hydraulic clutch line on an '88 Honda Shadow. A lot thinner and better looking than the old line. Will use a shorter one to replace the brake line in a couple months.

Thanks for your question. This is just the line itself as long as you select the correct length it will work. You would need to purchase the banjo connectors separately. Please feel free to give us a call if you have any questions 1-888-339-3888.

How do I select the proper stainless steel line for my 2004 YAMAHA XV1700 Midnight

          A:

Thank you for your question. The universal line will have to be matched to the original line by measurements. Instead there is a kit readilly available for the Midnight. The kit includes all the clutch and brake lines. Below is a link to the kit:

      • Q:

If the original brake hose measured 20 inches overall how much do you allow for the banjo fittings? My guess would be 1.5 inches for each fitting would leave 17 inches for the brake hose. Do you have a formula for figuring this out? Each hose has a straight fitting on one end and approx. 15 deg on the other. Do you have engineering drawings that show the length of each fitting based on the type of end attached? Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks for your question! Unfortunately we don't have the specs on your machine, you would want to measure each piece.
