EBC Sintered Double-H brake pads boast the highest friction level rating (H), becoming the industry standard in 2004. They carry the highest H title in two ways, hence the expression Double-H, as they are H-rated cold and H-rated when hot; This means no brake fade. Most Double-H pads are fitted (according to system parameters) with stainless steel radiator plates which are helpful in reducing the heat transition into the caliper and hydraulics. Heat-reduction and superior materials make the HH an excellent choice for street and race uses.
   Features:
      -Sintered copper alloy pads.
-Perforated stainless steel heat radiator plates.
      -Double-segmented, wider pads.
      -Made in the USA
-Please Note: Product is sold in pairs. One pair required per rotor

    Great Stopers

    By Greg South Florida

    from West Palm Beach

Comments about EBC Sintered Double-H Brake Pads:

Improved stoping power. Little over 300 miles, so they are well bedded. Smooth predictable breaking. A true improvement over OEM. I replaced before ware markes were reached. No fade whatsoever. You'll love the feel. I have confidence in their performance. Replaced fronts and rear.

Comments about EBC Sintered Double-H Brake Pads:

I had already decided on these based on previous reviews and when my mechanic said these are the pads to get, there was no doubt. I just had them put on the back a few days ago with a rear tire change, so I don't have a lot of miles on them yet. They seem to stop the bike as well or better than the previous OEM pads.

You need 2 sets of front pads, yes all Goldwing's regardless of year or model have dual front brakes.

    • Q:

The notes say "2sets required " when selecting the rears or one of the front options. What exactly does this mean? I have to buy 2 rears? Or just that I need to buy 2 sets, 1 rear and 1 front?

      Thanks.

      • A:

This part is for the FRONT brakes only and requires 1 set for each front rotor. My '83 GL1100I has 2 front rotors, so, 2 sets are needed. The rear takes a completely different pad.
