EBC Pro-Lite Brake Rotor. An aftermarket standard worldwide due to its close similarity to the motorcycle's original disc, plus its 18% higher friction braking power over stainless steel discs. The Pro-Lite rotors have a safe, riveted, and sturdy construction. Most Pro-Lite models now feature EBC's new square sided drive button system, which completely eliminates the chance of rotor warping, extends rotor life, and improves consistency of brake effect. This rotor, according to the EBC website, will fit the rear of a BMW R100RT also, if you use the front left hand version. The part numbers for front left and rear are identical on the EBC site.

Comments about EBC Pro-Lite Brake Rotor:

I love this rotor from the looks perspective. My only issue is the stock speedometer cable sheath rubs against the rotor making the stock cable unusable. Glad I had not decided on gauges yet.

Comments about EBC Pro-Lite Brake Rotor:

I purchased these to replace the OEM rotors on my new to me Honda 919 which were warped by the previous owner. I mated these with brand new Vesrah pads & took it easy as per the instructions to just use them regularly & bed the rotor & pad surfaces over time.

Right off the bat, they pulsated. Even worse than my OEM rotors. I decided to give it some time as both pads & rotors were brand new. After 1000 miles the surfaces have mated but the pulsating is still there. It is there at any speed & is very annoying. I took apart my entire front end & double checked my install. Everything was aligned & torqued as per the service manual.

I noticed that my pads had worn unevenly. Meaning there was a strange streak mark at the very bottom of the pads on both left & ride sides. I took a closer look at the rotors & noticed that there are burr marks on the hole closest to the rotor carrier. This is a representation of poor quality control or simply poor machining.

I regret not getting the Brembo replacements that cost the same. I never purchase anything EBC again. So I have $400 worth of brand new poorly made rotors that pulsate just the same as 7 year old warped OEM rotors.

          Look elsewhere.

Thank you for your question. This is just a sample image. The application depends on the braking system. The image shows a semi floating disc. Some of the older models used a solid disc. From the images of your bike, No the disc will not look like the one in the image.

We know that they come gold on most machines but depeding on color or design of the machine it can be a metal finish. Please contact our sales dept. with your year, make, and model and we will do our best to find out the color.
