Comments about ProGrip 842 Gel Duo Density Cruiser Motorcycle Grips:
this is my 2nd pair of these grips. i was worried that they might be discontinued as other have been. these have been one of the best pairs of grips i have ever put on my bikes, in over 40 years of riding. they are durable, very grippy and look decent. i dont see any need to buy more expensive grips or any other brand.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I have a 74 Honda CB200 and I bought these to replace the worn out stock grips. Very comfy and look cool BUT the end cap in them takes up more space then the stock grips. So when I wanted to take them off to fix the problem by trimming my throttle sleave down a bit, come hell or high water I could not get them back off. Nearly pulled a shoulder muscle after a half hour of pulling. Finally got it back off. So in closing, they're very nice grips, if they're durrible enough to survive me pulling on them that rough, I know they'll last a long time.

Good grips with an issue

I like the grips. They are comfortable and look good. I ordered the 1" size because that is what my 2004 BMW 1200GT measured. The one for the left fit perfectly. The problem being that the one for the right side, throttle, is too big. The manufacturer made the opening it it larger than 1". I'm guessing this is because some bikes have a larger diameter throttle grip because they slide the throttle assembly over their standard size tubing for the handle bars. MY BMW is 1" on both grips! I am extremely disappointed that there is no mention that each grip is a different size. If something is listed as a certain size that is what I expect. The grip construction is good but the sizing is a problem.

Bought these to replace the Kuryakins. Much more comfortable and way cheaper. Have a nice cylindrical shape, not a barrel shape that feels good, even on long trips. Easy to hang on to with minimal hand grip.
