Renthal Sport Bike Full Diamond Grips are 120mm in length with open ends to accommodate bar ends. Firm grip has the same feel as a stock grip, it is very strong and has very good resistance to tearing and abrasion. Soft grip is extremely soft, it gives you a very comfortable ride, great feel and reduces the chances of blisters. Medium is a compromise betweern firm and soft. Sold in pairs.

Best Grips for the Track!
from Phoenix, AZ
I use the Medium grips on my track bike (GSX-R750) and love them. I've tried a couple different grips and these are hands down the best. My hands don't get fatigued or cramped like they did with some other grips because you can apply much less pressure to "hold" them.Like the other reviewer said about the negative review --- these are "Road Race" grips, as such, they are meant for track riders and racers. Personally I like them enough to also have them on my street bike (S1000RR) and my Performance Machine grips on my cruiser (Harley FXDB) have Renthal "medium" rubber. They are very comfortable and in my opinion suited for on or off the track. If you want more comfort, go with the Soft compound, if you want an extra firm grip, go Firm - I think the Medium is the perfect compromise. I'll probably never buy another type of grip. Thinking of trying out their Dual Compound (non-Kevlar) on my street bike.

You drive a V-Strom what do you expect
These are "ROAD RACE" grips, not touring bike grips, these are some of the best and tackiest grips on the track.... Sometimes you have to read the box then apply it to your application derrrrr

I found positive reviews on these grips and was looking forward to giving them a go. I went with the medium firmness grip. To date, I have tried four various grips on my V-Strom, which I use primarily as a daily commuter (35 minutes). These are unquestionably the most uncomfortable grips I have purchased. I can easily feel the metal handlebar through the compound and my hands begin to feel fatigued within ten minutes. Huge disappointment. That said, there is another variable to consider. This negative review was one pertaining to comfort while wearing thin summer leather gloves that have minimal padding. I have also tried them with heavy winter gloves and as can be expected, with the extra padding they are perfectly serviceable. So my advice is if you use a well-padded glove, these grips may suit your needs. Thin glove users may want to look elsewhere.
