Comments about Renthal 7/8" Road Bars:

    Looks great, quality construction.
As an added bonus the small BMX bar is also useful for clamping things such as phone holders or gps mounts.

If I could give this 4.5 stars I would,
only because I don't understand why the small BMX bar isn't removable without taking off the grips and everything else...

These bars, now installed on my 2006 Triumph Scrambler, allow me much greater comfort while cruising than the original bars while still allowing great control in tight confines.

Replaced my stock sv650 bar with this and they look and feel great! I got the black streetfighter bars and I accidentally ordered 2 and bikebandit.com made it very easy to return the extra set. Easy to install and improve riding comfort and handling greatly

                A:

Thank you for your question. Yes, the DR-Z400E model has 7/8" bars, If the handlebars are the same thickness top to bottom. Then the handlebars are 7/8". If they taper thicker from the clamp area than the handle area they are 1 1/8".

            • Q:

I'm looking at the Renthal 7/8 road bars for a road bike, but I like the specs on the Banshee bend better. I know the high road bars don't come with a cross brace, which is fine. I'm wondering if I could use the Banshee bars with out the cross brace. If not, is it because the road and off-road bars are different? thanks.

Thanks for writing in! We do not recommend taking the brace of the banshee bar, Please go with a better bend in the road bar.

Can you advise me on a bar end weight that is compatible with these handlebars? I purchased the bar but am having a hard time finding bar end weights that will fit the smaller than stock 14mm interior of the aluminum bars.

Thanks for your question! These are motocross bars made for dirtbikes mainly. We would not have amount to convert these over to fit your machine unless your machine has a 7/8 inch mount already.
