Comments about Motion Pro Replacement Control Lever:

Ordered to replace a broken OEM brake lever on a 1998 Nighthawk 750. Fits perfect and can't tell the difference between this and the original one. Great price vs. the OEM replacement part, I am completely satisfied.

Comments about Motion Pro Replacement Control Lever:

The clutch lever was almost identical to the OEM lever it was replacing. The only problem is that the piece that inserts into the mounting was too thick. After the first installation, the lever was "sticky" to the point where it actually got stuck while I was riding.

After comparing it to the broken one I'd pulled off the bike, it was half a millimeter thicker than the original. Half an hour with emery cloth it now fits perfectly.

So, it wasn't quite the right size, but it still cost about half of what ordering an OEM part would've cost, so still easily four stars. Also reading other comments, it's possible that my mount was just smaller (possibly related to the reason that the lever was broken).

Thanks for the question. The clutch and brake are separate pieces. Depending on the bike you have the drop down will specify whether it's a clutch or brake lever.

            Thanks for your question.

Once you select your year, make and model the lever will be based on the original specifications for that machine and it will let you know what type of finish (black or polished aliminum) it is in the product description.

        • Q:

I replaced my master cylinder and lever with a Kymco model. The brake lever looks similar to the bottom two levers shown here. Will I be able to get a clutch lever in that shape? I would like it to match in shape and the shorter reach.
