Cheap but effective throttle lock.

Comments about Sound Off Recreational NEP Cruise Control:
I bought the CC3 to fit my FZ-07, which has 7/8" bars and a dual cable throttle. It was not plug and play, because my throttle cables have a housing covering them with no gap between the cables where a tab on the NEP was supposed to fit. A little MacGyvering, and I was able to make it work. It's cheap, it works.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Not a Universal fit
from Central IL
The unit seems to work o.k. It did not fit the dual cable throttle on my bonneville without significant modifications. (backyard engineering)
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

An essential accessory for long-distance travel. I've been using an NEP throttle lock for about twelve years on my current Honda Nighthawk 750 and for about ten years before that on a Yamaha Radian 600. It's durable, easy to install and operate, and gives right hand/arm the periodic relief which is critical on long rides.Note: this is not a "cruise control" device that maintains a constant speed. Rather it holds the throttle in a fixed position, meaning that road speed will vary with headwinds/tailwinds, uphill/downhill. Not useful in hilly country but great for open, flat stretches of road or highway.
