Doesn't work on a 2009 Yamaha FZ1
from Plano Texas
Comments about Sound Off Recreational Vista Cruise:
The 2009 Yamaha FZ1 uses a two cable throttle linkage. The housing for the throttle cables has no place to secure the bracket that this uses to mount.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

The rivit is wider than the body of this unit therefore for it to work on my bike (which had a preset space to opperate in) I had to grind it down with my dremel.

Sending it back.

I couldn't get this to work on my KLR650. I'm sending it back to get the universal vista cruise version which I know works well. Maybe it is just me but I gave up trying to get it to work properly.

Had one of these on a bike years ago and was happy to learn they are still available. These are the perfect addition to any bike that does not have cruise control. Not as good as electronic cruise, but it's the next best thing. I love it. Gives the driver a chance to let go of the throttle and rest the hand and fingers.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
