Product Details

The Tamer Throttle Tube evens out the throttle's abrupt initial power delivery to eliminate the throttle snatch that is especially evident with modern EFI bikes, introducing a non-linear ratio between hand throttle and the carb or throttle body opening. Throttle cam’s radius is reduced initially, so you'll have to rotate the throttle slightly further to get the same opening position as stock; the radius increases after half-throttle to keep the full throttle position at or near stock.

Comments about G2 Ergonomics Tamer Throttle Tube:

I bought a Throttle Tamer for my RC51 after reading many great reviews. I'm always up for trying new gadgets on my bikes and this is one that will stay. The Throttle Tamer really smooths out the initial hit in the 1/4- 1/2 throttle position. I live in CA where lane splitting is legal and this makes those on/off transitions less abrupt. The nice part is it takes nothing away from the V-twins feel. It just makes the rider happier!

      • Q:

It says that this throttle sleeve will only fit the Triumph Bonneville up to 2008. I have a 2009 and am in desperate need of new aluminum throttle sleeve for it. I have new 1" handlebars put on. Will this work on a 2009 Triumph Bonneville? If not could you recommend one that would work on 1" bars. Thanks for the information!!

          A:

Thanks for your question! This will not work on the 2009 model. We did not have any other aftermarket options for you on the throttle tube.
