Not what I expected
from Bainbridge, GA
Comments about Ballistic Performance Components 4 Cell EVO2 Lithium Ion Battery:
I bought the 4cell as a replacement for my 1982 Honda CB450sc Nighthawk. The small size and light weight would make it an excellent battery if it was a powerful as a normal battery. It started the bike the first two times and then it would not start it at all even after being fully charged in 80 degree weather. Very disappointed and I ended up buying a regular battery anyway. This was rated for my bike and it isn't worth the money.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I put this battery on my 1972 Sportster XLCH and I love it. Small, easy to hide, always ready to go. The specs suggest this won't work but it's fine. I installed a low output end cap regulator (cycle electric) on my generator to make sure I didn't over amp the little battery.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
good battery for racing
from Ashburnham MA
Great battery if you're looking to lighten up an E-start enduro/trail/playbike. Swapped one into my KLX140L and probably took 8-10 lbs. off the bike when removing the airbox as well. Had to contort the battery terminals to fit the battery, but it cranks well and lasts a long time. This battery does not like cold weather, though. Store the battery in a warm place if you're bike's in storage, or else it'll take forever for the bike to start.

Ballistic Performance Components 4 Cell

I put this battery in my 2006 Kawasaki Ninja ex250 to replace my lead one that went bad. They included foam to use to hold the battery in place since it was much smaller than the lead battery. I have had it over a year now and even over winter storage it kept it's charge and let me fire my bike up without any problem. While not exactly cheap you do get what you pay for.
