I put this battery in my 2006 Kawasaki Ninja ex250 to replace my lead one that went bad. They included foam to use to hold the battery in place since it was much smaller than the lead battery. I have had it over a year now and even over winter storage it kept it's charge and let me fire my bike up without any problem. While not exactly cheap you do get what you pay for.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

This is installed in my 2004 Yamaha TTR225 in place of stock lead acid battery. Arrived charged to 13.3V. So far so good. turns my bike over easily. This is 1st one of these I've tried. If this holds up to my storage use without having to worry about charging it like you do with the lead batteries I will most likely put one of these in all my bikes.

Doesn't fit Suzuki DR-Z400S

Doesn't fit my 2006 Suzuki DR-Z400S. The battery terminals are so close together (compared to OEM) you'd have to build new battery cables to reach. And then you'd still have to mess with mounting the battery in a holder of a completely different shape, ensuring it doesn't move around or allow terminal contact with the frame etc.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

This battery did not fit my Honda 230L very well. The terminals should have been reversed and it was actually a little too tall. I made it work, but am not totally satisfied with the installation. The battery performs great.
