Comments about BikeMaster TruGel Battery (MG7C-A):

Seems to be a good battery. I put it on and my TW 200 started right away. Batteries do last 2 or 3 years. Better get a new one by your third year. I got tired of trickling my mine until I bought a brand new one from bike bandit.

  • Q:

Is it true that gel batteries can last up to twice as long as acid batteries? I want to buy the most powerful and durable product. We have 2 yamaha tw 200's. Your web site list the bike master gel mg7c-a for our bikes. Is this correct? Would you recomend the gel over acid ? For the money is the Bike Master Gel the best gel for our 200's. When does the free shipping over 99.00 end? THANKS!! Albert

Thank you for your question. Yes you are correct, Gel batteries are far superior to convetional style batteries. The Gel batteries can be installed in any postion even upside down. The weight reduction is more than noticeable too. The manufacturer's warranty is twice as long. and the new Lithium ion technology makes batteries last longer without surface charging. The lithium technology allows for more cold cranking amps out of a smaller package. The new Gel batteries are a very smart investment.

Thank you for your Question! Unfortunately the battery would be on back order and not available at this time, But if you call in we could get you a battery compatible with your machine. We would just need the year of your Yamaha tw 200 at this point. 1-888-339-3888

Thanks for the question! As long as The Bikemaster Truegel Battery still has battery life and dies down, it can be recharged.
