Comments about Electrosport Industries Stator:
Went through the trouble of installing the Electrosport stator before testing it. Started bike after install, and had no charge at all. Upon testing the new stator all 3 wires were ranging from .6 ohms and 1.2 ohms of resistance to ground! All three phases were shorted out. Did some research, people seem to have more problems with Electrosport stators than any other aftermarket stators available, problems ranging from bad to factory, to having 4 bad warrintied stators within 50 miles. Save the hassle, do your research, buy OEM, or a quality aftermarket, and learn from my mistake.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Needed a replacement stator and ElectroSport looked good price wise and with a 1 year warranty. Installed stator and tested...all was well. Put about 600 miles on the bike and the stator burnt up. Tried to contact ElectroSport to place a warranty claim...never to get it touch, no emails back, no phone calls, cant even reach a human being when you call there number. What good is a 1 year warranty if its not honored...do yourself a favor and buy the Ricks model.

installed into my '84 Honda V-65 Magna. no issues and fit like stock. green is ground, red is batt +, and the 3 yellows apparently have no polarity preferance. I have an aftermarket regulator tho. charges great & no issues. going on year 2 now.

Very poor quality slip ring insulation. Installed in April and by June epoxy cracked and screws under it that hold in place the slip ring plate came loose. Loose screws inside cover shorted the main fuse causing a breakdown on the highway. Also damaged the brush holder. Keep looking for an OEM one. This offshore junk is a waste of money!
