Comments about Emgo LED Taillight Bulbs:
A stock tail light bulb on a 41 year old bike does not get it. I wanted better illumination from the tail light and this bulb was a very big help. My non-scientific observation revels about twice the illumination over the stock bulb. Don't drive without one.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I expected more from EMGO, I've never had trouble with their replacement parts; but this is the first electronic part I've bought from them so the brand still holds well for me, but took a hit here.Big Bad Bummer point, it did not work as advertised. At least for me. I bought the (not-mini) strobe bulb and the description reads that it, "emit a multi-colored, rotating taillight and a flashing brake light". All LEDs on the bulb are red, so there was only one color, red; but the leds' individual illumination sequence did "rotate". Also, there was no flashing when the brake lever was pulled. Just the "rotating" stopped and it was solid red, not even any more bright. This upset me. Bike Bandit - Look into this? Also, the bulb was less bright than my normal 2357 (1157 but a bit brighter, and hotter) at "idle" and significantly so when the brake was pulled. It wasn't cheap for a bulb, and it was costly for a workbench ornament. I won't be buying electronics from EMGO again soon. I'm disappointed that the description was misleading.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
