Comments about Baja Designs Turn Signal Kit:

Bought these for 1983 Honda XL 250R restoration. Bolts came out of the stalks when tightening them down. In addtion, lights wouldn't flash because they come with 10 watt bulbs instead of 23 watt. Finding 23 watt bulbs these days is rather challenging. Go with K&S mini stalk. Much better lights and worked immediately.

Comments about Baja Designs Turn Signal Kit:

Installation was easy and lights simply worked well from the moment they were first used. These are an excellent alternative to the OEM signal lights and by virtue of configuration, I have faith that I will be using them along time.

Comments about Baja Designs Turn Signal Kit:

These lights were easy to instal and work very well until winter, at that point the rubber became brittle and both broke within a week of each other. So if you ride in warm weather only they should hold up fine.

Comments about Baja Designs Turn Signal Kit:

These units are the same as the Triumph OEM parts that come with the hard saddlebag hardware kit. Mine had dry-rotted and both stalks had broken or cracked. Triumph does not sell these separately.

These are exactly the same, except the wiring is not terminated the same way. You can either cut the terminals off your old turn signals and splice them on the new lamps, or I've been told you can take the lamps apart, and simply disconnect the leads inside the housing and swap them. There is plenty of wire to do either.

These fit all the ST's from 1999 - 2004 model years. They are required for bikes with bags (they are shorter, for clearance), but will work fine on a bag-less bike.

Thanks for your question! We have checked into this for you and show these are universal type turn signals and would fit most if not all machines. We are not able to state if these would fit your machine due to how we do not have wiring diagrams to check this for each model machine. Please let us know if there is anything else we can assist you with.

            • Q:

Does this turn signal have the two-holed mounting system? I cannot tell for sure from the pictures here. I would like a turn signal with the two holes just like the OEM parts so that it does not rotate on just one mounting stem. (For a 2003 Honda 750 Shadow Spirit) Thank you!

I bought and installed the turn signal kit(2 kits,4 signals)with the 10 watt bulbs on my 1986 KLR 250. someone commented that the signals didnt flash on their bike and they had to replace the flasher relay to correct the problem. Is that the only solution and if so will I have to get the relay from Kawasaki?Mine also stay on when activated.Otherwize the signals are great.Easy install with just 1 small alteration.

Thanks for writing in to BikeBandit! The flasher relay would be the problem in this case. This is somthing we would supply in our OEM schematics breakdowns. Please contact a Sales rep if you are needing help in locating this part.
