    Replacement turn flasher

    By yamadude

    from Carson City, NV

    Comments about K&S Turn Signals:

I'm rebuilding a 1977 Yamaha DT250 enduro, which, naturally, required a new rear turn flasher. The K&S flasher unit looks identical, but the wire was too short. Had to splice on extra wire.

Contacted Bikebandit about the part and recieved prompt online support. However, I have yet to get gift cards processed without a hassle.

Good luck to all you rebuilders!!

    I like the lamps, but...

    By Tim

    from St. Paul, MN

    Comments about K&S Turn Signals:

The lamps are for all practical purposes exact copies of OEM style, except there's an issue I have about my purchase that there seems to be some mix-up in the vehicle application. The lens I got has 3 wires, but the male plugs were smaller than the orig. lamp, so I had to solder the oem plugs on, and, the stalk was over an inch longer than stock,,, but luckily the stalks are removable and I swapped my orig. one over to the new lamp. Fortunately I have a little extra time on my hands...
There was no part number differentiating between frt. and rear that I noticed when ordering..(I ordered and paid for fronts).now when I search the part# from my order receipt and then check the specs it says they are rear turn signals.
The package has a barcode sticker on the back that says it's a Yamaha front, and a large sticker on the front of the package that says it fits my '98 Seca II.
They're nice lamps, but there's a mistake in the specification application data somewhere down the line for my application at least. The rears on my bike have longer stalks, but I have not checked the wiring yet.

      Comments about K&S Turn Signals:

It was exactly what I needed. However I would complain about shipping time. Took a week for one blinker. Besides that two wires black on yellow and works.

Looking to replace the original units on my 1979 Honda XL185S, and need to know if these can bolt straight to the rear-fender, OR if they require salvaging the original rubber-mounts (?).

Thanks for the question. Depending on the year, make & model there may not be a clear lens option. Since these are DOT approved they're more than likely have a amber lens. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you by contacting us by email at Sales@bikebandit.com, Live Chat or by phone at 888-339-3888. We are more than happy to help.

Thank you for your question! Most aftermarket images are a general image of what is being ordered. The turn signals should compare closely to what is original on the bike. If there is anything else we can assist you with just call or click!
