Comments about Helix 20" Turn Out Universal Muffler:

Compared to stock mufflers (4 into 2) on my 1982 Xj650; they are much louder and quite a bit throatier sounding. Compared to straight pipe they tone down some of the chug at idle. Driving down the road they are almost as loud as stright pipe and sound great! Look great too! I only wish they were a couple inches longer.

Comments about Helix 20" Turn Out Universal Muffler:

I installed these pipes on a 2003 Triumph Speedmaster. They gave me the exact sound I was looking for. The only down side is even after having the bike rejetted by a Triumph dealer they still pop when you let off the throttle. Other then that I am perfectly happy with the purchase and have already recomended Bike Bandits to several of my friends. The customer service people were very helpful and got the pipes to me sooner than expected. As I look for more upgrades for my bike I will check thier website first.

Thank you for your question! Unfortunately we would not have any universal baffles that would be offered for this exhaust. We do apologize. You may want to contact Helix directly to see if they have any solutions for baffles on these pipes. Please let us know if there is anything else we can assist you with.

    • Q:

i would like to use this pipe or just run a straight pipe will either of them allow for enough back pressure so it will not hurt my engine? I just purchased a 1996 cbr f3 and do not want to hurt the engine. Will leaving the stock pipe with no muffler be okay or should i purchase a longer extension for the pipe?

Thank you for your question! This is a universal item and we are not able to confirm specs or fitments for any machines. We recommend purchasing a exhaust that is made to fit the machine. You may want to check some online forums for answers to some of the questions you have as someone may have tried this already before.

IF YOUR BIKE IS FUEL INJECTED THE COMPUTER SHOULD ADJUST THE AIR FUEL MIXTURE TO COMPESATE FOR THE REDUCED BACK-PRESSURE, IF IT HAS CARBS YOU MAY NEED TO REJET IT.

Hello, could you tell me what the od of the Pipe/muffler is past the collar, or at near the turn out. just looking to see if it is close to the same od as the original muffler on my bike and would like to know if the factory heat shield will fit back on it.

      Thanks

Thanks for the question. This is a universal product and is made to fit a wide range of motorcycles. Some modification may be required and we cannot guarantee fitment. This muffler will fit piping with an outer diameter of 1 3/8" - 1 3/4". If your machine falls within this sizing it may mount on the machine but we are not sure about performance or how the machine may run. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you.

Thank you for your question! Unfortunately we do not have the specs for the exhaust system for the CB200T. You will have to measure the outer diameter of your existing pipe to determine fitment. This exhaust will fit pipes with an outer diameter of 1 3/8"- 1 3/4". Please let us know if there is anything else we may assist you with.

Thank you for your question! This pipe would be a universal application and would fit some machines but not all. If your machine has a OD pipe between 1-3/8" - 1-3/4" this would clamp on with no problem. You may have to check around the machine to make sure the pipe will clear all objects. Performance is unknown due to how this is a universal pipe and not tuned or dyno tested for any one specific machine. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you.

Is this a muffler or just a straight pipe? Will it fit my 1975 Honda CB 360T?

        A:

Thank you for your question. The Muffler is more like a straight pipe. You commonly see this style on older Goldwings, Or tourers. Unfortunately we do not have the specs for the exhaust system for the CB360T. You will have to measure the outer diameter of your existing pipe to determine fitment. This exhaust will fit pipes with an outer diamter of 1 3/8"- 1 3/4".
