Comments about Moose Racing Exhaust Wrap:
The Moose Racing exhaust warp is a great product that's well made. Here's an interesting application for exhaust wrap. The header pipes on my vintage '78 Goldwing were pitted and rusted. After sanding and preparing I painted with hi-temp header paint. It's really hard to paint chrome and the paint flaked in a few spots. I didn't like the flaking, so I wrapped the pipes with black tape which matched the black mufflers. Before cutting the tape I suggest you take the time to do a trial wrap to get the correct lenght...and add a few more inches to that length. For a tighter fit, soak the warp in water for five minutes then squeegie the water off between two fingers. Wear thin rubber gloves for protection from the fine ceramic hairs. Begin the wrap from the back or end of the pipe and secure this end with hi-temp clamps or the clamps attaching the mufflers. Beginning from the end of the pipe puts the overlay warp to the rear so it can't catch wind and loosen. Complete the job with hi-temp clamps at the top of the headers. I finished the wrap by spraying the headers with flat black hi-temp header paint. It looks good and I'm please with the results. First time you start up there will be some smoke but it'll stop after a few minutes.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Easy to install. Took only about an hour. Installed on my Triumph Bonneville. Looks awesome. Color fades slightly as it smokes off. But it really adds to the look of my bike.
