Comments about Vance & Hines Standard Pro Pipes:

I was so impressed when I recieved them, installed them, and I was very upset to find out that in the details it said, "all require frame mods" when it should have been noted most bikes will have to chop n rake the frame. The front wheel hits the #3 cyl pipe when turning. However the sound from them ranks the same as a chevy v8 open header at the drag strip.well time to bust out wit da torch!!!!

  • Q:

The product description notes that "all require frame modifications" for fit, yet in a previous question by a potential client it is stated that "no modifications" were required for the 1980 cb750 because it came under "the listing for that machine." Can you please specify what will be needed to be done before I buy this product. As well where can a jet kit be purchased for it?

Thanks for your question! Unfortunately Vance and Hines does not specify the type of modifications required. For more detailed information on specific fitment to your model we would suggest checking with Vance and Hines directly. We have also included a link below to our list of jet kits that we offer.

  • Q:

Hi, I have a 1971 Honda CB500 Four. Was wondering if this system will fit without any modification to the frame or exhaust? Also, looking at the picture, the exhaust is laid out from the right side, is that correct? Please let me know and thank you!

      A:

Thanks for your question. Since this is not made for your machine we would not be able to tell you if this will work or not even with modifications. You may want to speak with a mechanic that does muffler modifications. This only shows to fit a CB750F Super Sport for that year.
