I would buy this product again

Comments about FMF TurbineCore 2 Silencer:

Bought this for the mountain rides. Now have a shorty and this turbine core. I switch them out depending on where I will be riding. Love them both. Only down fall is that this does not come with the rubber inserts and spacers needed to mount it. This one needs two and the shorty only uses one. Had to go to the dealer to get more mounts for it.

Comments about FMF TurbineCore 2 Silencer:

ok so i have this 95 yamaha wr250 needed a little bit of TLC. has a gold series FMF pipe on it so the tubine core silencer was a no brainer big difference than the compleatly empty silencer that it had on.. ( not my doing ) not to mention this silencer has a spark arrestor so throw one of these on your bike and go ride the trails, and on that note the bike sounds great, not to loud, has a great sound to it. so this silencer was a very good buy fit like a glove couldnt of asked for more for the price.. thank ou bikebandit keep the parts shippin..lol

Nicely built needed work to fit 04 CR250

      By Jason

Comments about FMF TurbineCore 2 Silencer:

This silencer is well built, however it did not fit properly on my 04 CR250. When I put it on, both bolt holes didn't line up. I compared it with my stock silencer and it was apparent the FMF TC2 was too long. I cut 1/2" off the end of the silencer to expansion chamber junction and it fit fine. Probably a freak manufacturing defect as others haven't had problems.

I have a KDX220r, it has a FMF Gnarly pipe already installed. Not sure if its the woods or desert version since it came already on the bike. I have the stock muffler installed, and was wondering if the TurbineCore2 would help with my low end performance?

Thank you for your question. Yes this design will deliver unrestricted power to the whole rpm range, not sacrificing low end or top end performance. Best if used with an FMF pipe. The Turbine Core 2 is also forestry approved.

If I had a stock silencer on a kx 125 would the TurbineCore2 be quieter or louder than stock?

          A:

Thank you for your question. The FMF turbine core 2 muffler is about the same. The FMF exhaust muffler will deliver a cleaner sound and slightly different tone.

          A:

Thanks for your question! With the FMF TurbineCore 2 that would be USF approved for any riding that will be done in the woods that require this, the power core 2 would be more track oriented and will be for pretty much track use only.
