Comments about National Cycle Paladin Chromed-Steel Highway Bars:

I installed these bars on my 2006 Honda Shadow 750. I choose these because they were the only company I could find for my bike that had two separate bars, one for each side. This was the easiest after market part I ever installed on my bike. The instructions were exact. They even told you what size wrench for each bolt. Nice profile bars that don't stick way out. The profile lines on mine are nicer than the picture. They look very nice and streamline.
If you have someone to help you balance the bars while you install them it would be very helpful. I didn't so I installed the U-bolts at the top first then attached the bolts on the bottom. Use extreme care not to scratch your paint.
I also installed the Kuryakyn pegs which are extremely well made. I ordered these at the same time. I'll comment on those under the Kuryakyn pegs I ordered.
The only con I have about these bars is that the welds on mine started and ended at the top where I can see it. This is not cool for a chrome piece but no one notices but you. This is the only reason I gave these a 4 star rating.

Had to do alittle adjustment so they would work with the forward controls. But other wise they were great.

It appears that these bars have rigid highway pegs as part of the construction. I like that but am concerned that they might be so low that they scrape when turning. Is this an issue at all? Thx

            A:

Thanks for your question! We do not show any foot pegs coming with these bars unfortunately. We do not show any sort of ground clearance issues with the bars when turning. The peg may hit but these do not come with the pegs.
