        Comments about BikeMaster Air Filter:

Basically all I can say is I have never had an air filter that did not fit. Pretty simple part to make right. The shape on this is close, but not quite right. It can be nudged into the airbox and I can push it over the air intake holes. Looks like it should be a nice tight seal, but after that, I cannot fit the airbox top on without deforming the lower box. Shame, I really wanted it to work. I will go back to the OEM paper filter. Bought this aftermarket filter for my C50 cruiser. I purchased another for my sport bike. Hope it fits!

        Bikemaster Air Filter

        By bluerrchik

        from North Carolina

        Comments about BikeMaster Air Filter:

This is a great alternative to the more expensive K&N Filters...this is my second purchase and the quality, fit, and performance is equal in my opinion to the more expensive and similar alternatives. Saved me almost $20 per filter, and this is my 2nd one....

        Comments about BikeMaster Air Filter:

It was a cinch to install. I am waiting to see how many miles this first tank of gas gives me with the filter on. I mounted it the morning after I received it, and went on errands and to work on the bike. I did not note any dramatic change so I'm waiting arround for the gas tank report. I received a bargain price due to my accumulated Bandit Bucks! I will take the bike on an 11 day tour of 14 states in August. By then I will be able to give a fair judgement. I discovered that my favorite shop did not put all screws back on the OEM filter after a service call, when I installed this one!

        Comments about BikeMaster Air Filter:

Replaced my k9 Gsxr600 with no sweat. Direct fit with no problems. Product details states its reusuable and wash-able, but no oil kit with it. Maybe it doesn't work like K&N....would of gotten a 5 star if it came with oil kit.

do you need to purchase any additional parts (oil, cleaner, etc.) to maintain this air filter?

          • A:

I already had a similar filter so the filter oil and cleaner I already had...it's still worth the price though when you consider never having to replace the air filter again....just clean and re-oil.....
