Easy install and takes in a lot of air. Nice thing also is not having to buy a new air filter again! Going out this weekend so we'll see if there's a power difference

    Modify for perfect fit

Comments about K&N Replacement Air Filter:

I have used many K&N air filters on other bikes and never had an issue with fit. My ZX12R had the original air filters with foam surrounds still installed that crumbled upon removal. To get the K&N filters to slide all the way down into the space in front of the air box required a serious cleaning of the entire space in front of the air box to remove debris from the old filters. The K&N filters are molded soft rubber in a shape that does not quite fit all the way into the original space. A few precision cuts with a razor knife to remove about 1/4 inch of rubber on one side of each filter was required with a bit of the included sealing grease to get the desired fit.Not a big deal but not exactly plug and play. Also must re-use original mounting bolt spacers as specified in instructions.

Direct fit, and worth the money. If u do maintenance like you should, paper filters get expensive. Save some money and get a better throttle response. Get a K&N.
