Everything fit but definitely "economy"

About Me Auto Enthusiast
I used this product to rebuild the carbs on a 1985 Honda Sabre. This was definitely the cheapest way to go compared to OEM parts. All seals, screws, O-rings fit well. The complaint I had was with the thickness and hardness of some of the brass parts. The needle valve seat seal was much thinner and softer than the original. When I tightened down the seat it tore the seals up. I didn't realize this till I put the bike back together and got fuel flowing past the seat into the cylinder which caused hydraulic lock. I replaced the needle valve seat seals with the original ones I had kept and cleaned up. They are about twice as thick as the ones in this kit. Also, the brass idle valve is very soft and easily marred with a screwdriver. The rubber parts worked great to this day.

I recently got my Yamaha V-Max out of the basement. It had been down there for 18 years. I drained the gas tank and put some fresh gas in it and it started up but it ran a bit sluggish. I used these kits to rebuild the carburetors. Now it runs like a new bike again.
