Comments about Mikuni Flat Slide Smoothbore Carburetor:

The TM38 carburetor I purchased for my 72 kick start Sportster worked great right out of the box.The bike started right up,and ran great.I did have to change the main jet from the standard 230 to a 330 for 3/4 to full throttle.

          A:

Thank you for your question! This would mount with boots and clamps. These parts would not come with the carb unit. If your machine uses a boot style mount these items would be on the machine. If your machine does not come with this style carb mounting you may want to check some online forums to see if this style can be converted to work on your machine. We are only able to confirm fitment on items specifically made for that exact year, make, and model machine. Please let us know if there is anything else we can assist you with.

Thank you for your question! These universal carbs can be determined to fit by the bore size and spigot mount of the one on your machine. Please measure these parts to determine which carb will best fit for your machine.

It does come with jets installed but it may not be correct for your machine, Yes it is a performance carburetor, It will have increased airflow over your OEM carb.
