Comments about K&L Fuel Petcock Rebuild Kit:
I rebuilt the petcock on 1982 XJ650. I had to make my own bottom gasket between the body and fuel outlet plate. I recommend it because the rest of the parts were there and I couldn't find any other kit.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Kit included every possible part that could wear out and fit perfectly with no modification. Saved a whole bunch of $$ compared to buying OEM.
Worked for me but a little confusing...
About Me Casual Driver
All-in-all, happy with the kit. Quality kit made in Japan, not [*] for a change! Somewhat confusing because it is a universal kit that fits many bikes but the package part numbers and labeling didn't line up with what I ordered. To be sure, I chatted with customer service before opening and they said it was correct. I ordered for a 1981 Suzuki GS550L per the website but the package part number was different and said for a Suzuki 1983-1985 Suzuki GS1150. Then later I discovered a label on the back of the package that stated "MULTIPLE APPS SEE CHARTS". The "charts" apparently are "checked" for you behind the scenes by the website because they don't come with it. This is all fine, but perhaps BikeBandit could clarify this a little better on the website (or order paperwork) to eliminate confusion and earn 5 stars! FINALLY, I was a little surprised there was not a gasket included for where the petcock mounts to the fuel tank but I suppose one could construe that as not necessary to rebuild a stand-alone petcock. Fortunately my petcock-tank gasket was in good condition and reusable.
Dont, judge a book by it's cover

The K&L Fuel Petcock Rebuild kit includes all necessary O-rings and diaphragms (except plastic diaphragm spacer block). Made in Japan. And It should have been included, made it very difficult to get it between new diaphragm membrains without ruining them.
