Comments about Progressive Suspension 416 Series Fork Springs:

No cons for this one. Easy installation; noticeable change in performance, I had the fork air pressure cranked up and was still bottoming out on large bumps, then I installed these Progressive Springs...I haven't added ANY air to the forks(lowest setting) AND the ride is excellent, no bottoming out!

Comments about Progressive Suspension 416 Series Fork Springs:

I was replacing my front shocks oil seals and decided to upgrade the springs while I had everything apart. Installation was simple enough for anyone with basic mechanical skills and tools. I installed them in my 2001 sv650 which had the worn out stock springs. These new Progressive springs changed my front suspension dramatically. It went from wet noodles for springs to a firm and comfortable ride. The installation instructions refer to an included supplement sheet but the sheet refers to the instructions for spacer length and shock oil levels. I used 10wt oil and the factory recommended 4.2 inches of oil height. The instructions suggest 5.5 inches of oil height. So far it seems to soak up the Hawaii potholes and not feel like my arms are being ripped out of my shoulders.

Comments about Progressive Suspension 416 Series Fork Springs:

After 30 years the old springs were showing signs of fatigue so I replaced them with new progressives.Follow the instruction warnings about removal of the old springs or your bike can end up laying down on the shop floor!
I also ditched the old air-assist unit for early 80's Hondas and the difference is amazing.
Looking forward to next summer and evaluating more long term.

Comments about Progressive Suspension 416 Series Fork Springs:

Put these in my 86 ATC 250R, what a difference. I ride in the rocky Northeast and these springs really soaked up the nasty stuff.
