  • Q:

Is the standard 75 lb. spring heavy enough for a 200 lb. rider?
Asked on 11/15/2012 by none from Lanesborough, MA.

    1 answer

Thank you for your question. The Series 12 & 13 shocks with the 75 lb. spring are recommended for bikes as sold new, excluding any bolt on accessories(windshield, saddlebags,ETC.) with rider weight under 200 lbs and limited passenger use. You may need a heavier spring for the shocks. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you by contacting us by email at Sales@bikebandit.com, Live Chat or by phone toll free at 888-339-3888. We are more than happy to help.
