I bought a chain that was cheap in price and it works just as good as any. And it was really easy to install.

Comments about RK M530 H Heavy Duty Motorcycle Chain:

We normally run EK heavy duty 530 chain on our 1400cc drag bikes with no issues. Now putting together a 600cc and needing 150 links decided to try the RK heavy duty since it was slightly less, should work fine.

Installed this chain on my 72 CL350. It is very close to what came stock on the bike back in the day. Good stuff!

Comments about RK M530 H Heavy Duty Motorcycle Chain:

Nice chain for the price. It went on easily--as easily as most. Although I didn't need them, it had istallation instructions printed on the back of the packaging. Took it for a 200 mile run with no problems. Heard great things so I thought I would check it out. At this price, I will lube and replace the chain when it is time.

Thank you for your question. This chain contains a master link. The master link included is a clip style master link. (Not a pressed rivet link).

Just to make sure, is this an o-ring chain? The description doesn't explicitly say it is, just mentions the o-ring chain warranty.

Thanks for your question! The RK-M series chains will not be O-ring chains they are standard. This is not an O-ring chain, it is a standard.

Thanks for your question! This chain would not be any where near strong enough for this machine. A good chain for this machine would start at atleast $85 and up. Many chains lower than that are listed for 500CC and below.

            • Q:

This chain is recomended to cover my model bike which is a 650cc. If the chain can't handle even a 550, why is it suggested for my CB650.
Shouldn't it be relative to the output torque vs. pure displacement. I mean, you can can easily achieve higher output torques if the gear train is right and exceed the max tensile strength.

Thanks for your question! With the RK M530H Heavy Duty Chain that your looking at this would not be strong enough to handle your engine sizing. I am not sure where it is suggested for your machine but this will not be strong enough. I would go with an O-ring chain.
