Comments about Pivot Works Rear Wheel Bearing Kit:

This rear axle kit is the right size for my sons Polaris Sportsman 90 (2004) after pulling the rear end apart for a swing arm the bearings were fine. Since we ride in deep sand I have a set ready to put in incase I need them on a long trip

Great Bearings

Comments about Pivot Works Rear Wheel Bearing Kit:

I got these bearings for my Suzuki Lt 230S and they were a breeze to install. Another plus about these bearings is that they are fully sealed on both sides, which i prefer more than the open ones. And of course bike bandit's service and shipping time were excellent!

The good/The bad

Comments about Pivot Works Rear Wheel Bearing Kit:

I've got a z400 and replaced my bearings approx 2 yrs ago using this product. They were fairly easy to install and worked well until about 2 weeks ago. Last time I was out, I was racing up a back trail on my property running third gear and all of a sudden the axle locked up, chain locked up and threw me over the handle bars. Turns out the bearings on the left side of the swing arm broke open, and the bearing balls when inside the axle housing and ended up cracking the axle housing in two pieces (a $158 part plus 4 hrs labor). I've gotten it put back together with new parts but took some time and money, plus a sore back from getting thrown off..
moral of the story is keep an eye on the bearings and make sure to replace them every so often. i ride pretty rough, and they have worked well, but figured they last longer than 2 years.
