Easy fit, simple install. Another quality part from EBC!

Given the product description and prior reviews, I was expecting these to be stiffer than the OEM springs, but was not expecting them to be quite as stiff as they are. In my bike's case, the clutch lever pull went from being at the edge of comfortable for a two finger pull to requiring all four fingers. Not good. EBC doesn't make a kit for my motorcycle and I had the choice of buying either the EBC springs or the OEM springs. In my case, the OEM springs would have provided more than enough tension, and I will be installing those next time around.Other than that, they were easy to install and fit properly, so all good as far as that's concerned.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Some Good Springs
from BC Canada
Bought a set for my 1984 Honda XR100. I was surprised when I compared the new to the old springs which I took out of the clutch assembly. The new springs were shorter than the old ones, around 1 millimeter. But by comparing the old and new springs by a squeeze with my hand the new ones definitely provide a higher tension. The new springs are working fine, and you can tell there's a fair amount of extra tension when you pull the clutch lever. Even though they're slightly shorter, the extra tensions seems to more than make up for the bit of missing length.
