The AFX FX-17 Full Face Helmet has an aerodynamic shell design constructed using an advanced lightweight composite poly-alloy and a helmet liner and cheek pads made with a hypo-allergenic and antimicrobial nylon, all of which are removable and washable. It features a removable screw-on visor and 11 points of ventilation with 1 chin, 2 side, 2 forehead, 2 top and 4 rear vents. Goggle strap grabbers, a square type D-ring with chin strap holder are also included. A clearcoat finish which protects the helmet’s paint & graphics. Comes with a Lifetime Warranty

          I would consider this an ideal utility ATV helmet, no skulls or fancy graphics that those of us with 4x4 quads really could care less about. If you are right between sizes I would get the larger size, I am a large right in the middle as far as the helmet sizing guide suggest, and I would not want this helmet any more snug than it is. It's not plush but it is comfortable enough to ride all day with no complaints.

                Thank you for your question. The Medium size helmet will be sufficient size. There is no set industry standard for PWC helmets. You can wear what is comfortable for you. The removeable liner feature may be a good feature to wash sand and water out for a clean Helmet next time you wanna use it.

                Thanks for your question! We have checked into this for you and show the manufacturer is not listing the weight on this. We do know this is one of the more heavy helmets due to the brand and the price range. Mush more expensive helmets would be about 2-3 pounds max.
