I was looking for a couple spare helmets to have on hand that were not too expensive and that I wouldn't have to worry about if they got lost or damaged. I chose this one because I wanted a half helmet for warm weather and as the daughter of an Air Force Vet, the wife of an Army vet, and the mother of two Marines, the American flag is highly respected and honored in our family. The guys love the helmet, and it looks like its going to get quite a bit of use. It's quite comfortable, and provides more protection than I thought it would. The only thing it really lacks is the snap to secure the strap end. I hate having the strap end flapping around. Other than that, it's great.

you have got to be kidding me: the first thing I did after opening the box was check the size tag on the helmet to make sure a 5x hadn't been mistakenly packed in a box labelled "Med". I SET it on top of my head and could spin it like a top; thought I could possibly use it as a drain pan, but that would be disrespectful considering the design on it. It's too bad that the manufacturer/designers didn't spend at least 5% of the effort they put into the artwork/finish on actually producing a product designed to snugly fit a human head. I won't even bother to look at anything of this brand again; I have 4 other helmets, a BELL and 3 V-Cans, all Med, and they all fit me perfectly.

a very well constructed helmet with great graphics. I was very pleased with all aspects of this product and, as advertised, it is smaller than the AFX FX-7, but its size is still enormous! Not the small, medium, large kind of size, but the overall size of the helmet. Unless your head is about the same size as Shrek's, may I suggest you buy cautiously.
