The AFX FX-43 Open Face Helmet features lightweight composite poly alloy shell with advanced aerodynamic design. It has a clear-coat finish that protects helmet paint and graphics and adds lustrous look. Includes removable and washable, plush-brushed, hypoallergenic nylon liner and cheek pads. Flush-fit, coverless-side shield, optically-correct, compound-curved, scratch-resistant, UV-treated face shield & three-point ventilation with forehead, back and rear vents are also included. Also features square type D-ring with chin strap holder & ample ear cavity space for speakers (not included). DOT and ECE-2205 certified.

      Solid Open Face Helmet

      This helmet is solid and well built. Don't be put off by the lack of Snell certification. Do your homework on Snell and you may come to the conclusion that the Euro standards are better as I did. This one DOES have Euro certification. Relatively light weight. Flip up shield is very tight. And for you ladies, the pink is REALLY pink. My wife loves her pink one.

      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

          Im very impressed with my flat black helmet, and my fiance really likes her pink one, its very pink...
          But yeah, The helmet is solid, the padding is tight, i's likes its.

            just got my fx43 helmet (size - small) from you; cheek pads are too tight on my face. Are there any smaller cheek pads available thru BB? AFX website lists part # 0134-0658 fro Medium size pads. Is this the way for me to go? Or should I modify the ones I have?

              Good question! keep in mind once you wear it and sweat in it after a few times use the foam will break down making it looser and more comfortable. We do not offer the XS size cheek pads for that model on our site but would recommend contacting AFX directly to obtain.
