Comments about AFX FX-50 Open Face Motorcycle Helmet:
This helmet was on back order and as expected some delays incurred. The fit and finish of this helmet is good. The sun visor works well with my glasses on. There was a tiny rattle which I finally figured out was coming from the top vent when closed. A small piece of electrical tape under the vent quieted it down. This is a good versatile helmet with very good visibility. It is not the lightest open face helmet but it is very well balanced so it doesn't feel heavy. The reflector on the side is very visible. It has become my go to helmet in the summer time.

Pros

Best Uses
Like it because it lets me use glasses while I am riding. Sun shade is convenient for glare without having to stop and use sunglasses. Still has clearance for my glasses with sun shade down. Good visibility and ventilation. Side reflectors for safety. Good overall design and comfortable!
Great Helmet

I got this particular helmet due to its good looks and reviews. The view from the helmet is flawless no distortions at all with the shield down. Wind noise is not bad at all and I can still hear what I need to. The helmet is rather light and does not strain my neck when on long rides. However, there is one slight issue, I followed the measurment chart and bought accordingly, I should have followed my instincts. the helmet is too small for me so I am going to give it to my wife. I strongly suggest going up at least one size from what the chart says. Other than that I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS AT ALL!!!!
