Good helmet for the price, well built, fits good, but poor ventilation, face shield fogs when I stop, I live in Houston, probably wont be good for city riding when the real summer hits

This helmet is a great value. Its light, especially for a modular, and comfortable. The only fit issues would be that the chin bar is much closer to one's chin than most helmets. People with Jay Leno like chins need not apply. The chin vent is good and keeps the visor fog free and all but the most cold and humid days. Note, the chin vent has a 3 position control. The middle position is open. The other 2 are both closed. Because you chin and mouth are close to the visor, compared to other helmets, I've noticed a lot of moisture at the very bottom of the visor. This never get high enough to impair visibility though. The top vent produces a whistle sound. It's not terrible and the other air noises on my make drown it out at speed, but your results may vary depending on the air flow around your head on your bike. The only other downside is that the visor needs a coin or a screw driver to remove it from the helmet. It's not hard, but a bit bothersome. The quick release buckle on the chin strap is nice. However the tension adjuster on the strap is terrible. It's quite hard to adjust. Fortunately, once you get it adjusted to your liking, you don't have to mess with it again as you just buckle and unbuckle the chin strap like a seat belt. Over all, it's a good helmet and well worth the money if you're looking for a modular.

Nice Helmet. This is my first Modular helmet and it works well. I like the fit and function. I have several thoughts that would improve it. As with others I agree with all their comments. I find the strap latch cumbersom both on and off. The material over the right hand strap gets caught in my jacket velcro. I made a sleve to cover it so it is not damaged. The lowest opening is to large...needs a smaller click. It fogs easily so am opening shield when I stop. I think the chin curtain is nice for colder weather but causes foging in warm Iowa weather. I like the metal hinge pins. For me the shape is just right.

I bought this helmet after seeing a friend buying a Harley-Davidson modular. His $269.00 H-D helmet had some graphics but after little investigating, it had AGV on the inside label. I bought a black gloss AGV miglia for about $160.00. Same helmet without the H-D graphics. I like how the ear pockets were big enough to accommodate my H-D headset and I was able to attach the mic boom as well. It's quite enough to listen to talk radio also. I don't really have any problems but I still haven't figured out which way the vents close. Never really paid it much attention I guess. I work well in the rain with little leakage and has great fit. I've always been and AGV fan and I am very happy with this purchase.
