Comments about AGV Sport Laguna Boots:
I bought these as a everyday riding boot. but getting them on and off is not the easest thing. the boots are tough and built to last. the venting is extensive and very usefull at freeway speeds. in the rain the venting vents water inside the boots and that feels odd. but on the good side the venting dries the boots fast. I would not recomend for everyday use but for racing these boots will protect you well in a crash. i think these boots will last a long time.. one thing i would like on boots is some refletive stuff on the back and sides (but that is just me)overall i recomend the boot.

You get what you pay for

Priced at [$], these boots are quite inexpensive. They look fine, and seem sturdy enough to protect in an incident, so that's a pretty good value.Other reviewers were correct, however, about things falling off. My first ride out, on an 18 mile commute to work, one of the rubber bumpers on the outside of the lower leg fell off, because the screw at the ankle had worked itself loose.I also suggest using a thread-locking agent on the three screws on the outside of the leg. *Don't touch the heel-plate, the sockets aren't securely placed and it may be very difficult to re-attach.Fit is a little on the big side, I traditionally wear 8.5 but needed an 8.

Decent for the cost

These boots are very comfortable on and off the bike. The vents on them work quite well and keep my feet from sweating. At the same time, they keep my feet warm on cold days. The shifter pad works well and keeps the boot from being damaged. At the same time they are not of the highest quality. I would only buy these for a good sale price. The "hand crafted leather" on the boots is very minimal. The colored areas are vinyl. The metalic looking central plates and ankle supports are made of plastic. The worst part about the boots is that the bolts that hold the boots together are not tight. They get loose and fall out. The rubber "AGV SPORT" logo on my left boot fell off on its own when the screw came loose. All in all they're decent boots. They feel like they would protect quite well in a spill. A little bit of Lock Tite seems to fix the bolt related issue, so overall, they are a good buy.
I've used BikeBandit.com for most of my motorcycle related purchases. When I have purchased from elsewhere I have felt ripped off when I see how much BikeBandit.com is selling it for!
