Comments about AGV Stealth Shadow Full Face Helmet:
This AGV helmet was bought before the black friday/cyber monday sales and it was still inexpensive. For the company & reputation the deal couldn't be beat. (I usually ride in a fulmer - fear & loathing helmet). The construction and material are top notch for this price range. Feels great, soft, liner, plenty of room for my earphones; or glasses if I wore them. The design is simple yet seemingly seductive. The visor tightens down so there no fear of a loosely visor; with about 8 points of adjustments. The ventilation is great, the chin vent is perfect, the head vent wonderful, and the behind-head vents great. It do so well in fact that riding in 40degree weather would chill your noodle double-time. The problems were a noisy ride, even though this helmet (like all my others) i were with earphones. (which are like ear-plugs except with rhythmic overtones!) Yet the sound of buffeting and wind were around my ear, likely from the behind the head vents. The sizing for this helmet was more like a xlarge. The visor system is caca, flat-out. The way you take the visor on and off seems like it will break after the first change. Just prepare and buy an extra set for the visor and where it connects to the helmet! And lastly the paint has a matte finish. Some might love this, I'm particularly fond of shiny paint. So that feature can go either way. Overall 7.5 out 10. I hope I've helped another buyer make a selection. (also read a few other reviews on this helmet some love it some hate. later)

Bought this helmet on clearance, it's a great deal and looks cool with it's flat finish. My only problems with it are it does fit a bit tight and the padding is kinda thin... I normally fit a shoei Lg shoei qwest, xl scorpion exo700 or xl arai profile, the agv feels a lot tighter than any of those others, even with it at xl size... I'll ride with it a bit more to see how it goes, I do notice that once riding, you don't notice the helmet much, so that is a plus. Overall, a nice helmet at a great deal.
