          • Q:

So I'm looking to replace the bearings on the front and rear of my 2002 V Star 1100 Custom. I just wanted to make sure that if I order a Quantity of 1 each; that it is a set to do the wheel? Does it come with everything I would need to complete the installation? Meaning, do I need a seal or anything. I know the dealer is quoting me like $100 for the bearings and seals??? I know each tire takes 2 bearings. Just don't want to get started, pull my wheels apart and then find out I don't have everything I need to finish and put it back together.

              Thanks for your question.

Once you select the year, make and model under the fit my machine button it will let you know if these will be for your front or rear tire. One kit will not do both front and reat tires.

I ordered this kit for 1997 CB750. The kit arrived with two bearings, two 28x42x8mm dust seals (#17 in the diagram) and one 45x55x5mm dust seal (#18 in the diagram). Can you confirm that the second #17 seal is extra? Only one shows up on the diagram and I can't imagine where the other one would go.

I hope I did the replacement job right!

Thanks for your question! From the OEM schematic and the included parts in the kit it does look like there is an extra seal included for the CB750. This kit is listed to fit several Honda models, the additional seal may be required on other models, but not the CB750.

            What's in the kit

it looks like 3 rings of wheel bearings and 2 seals? Picture isn't clear. Be nice if you specify it in the product specs so we know what we really are paying for. Thanks

Thanks for your question! Like most other websites, BikeBandit.com must use many general photos for aftermarket parts since we have a limited number of photos from the manufacturers. These pictures may not represent the actual product, as these parts can vary per machine.
