The Alpinestars Bionic S2 Protector Jacket is constructed of technical stretch mesh with a YKK semi autolock front zipper closure. It features CE-certified GP shoulder and elbow protectors, a removable CE-certified Level 2 bionic back protector, and a plastic and foam chest guard. The adjustable arm and shoulder straps as well as the adjustable waist closure give the rider a personalized fit.

The Protection is Worth It

Comments about Alpinestars Bionic S2 Protector Jacket:
The chest, back, and shoulders are protected quite well with this jacket. There are two things that I dislike about the jacket. 1.The red outline around the pads. It would be nice if different colors were available or if it was just black. 2. The zipper for the back protector starts to unzip when putting the jacket on and maybe while moving in general. I'm not sure. I just know that when I got home from riding that the back protector was halfway unzipped and hanging off.

Great for hot weather. Very breathable design. Very good shoulder protection. Only problem is the size. The size chart is way off. I wear a large for almost everything. The size chart said an XL would fit me, but it is still very tight through the shoulders. The XXL fits like a large should.Just be aware when ordering that THE XXL IS THE SIZE OF A LARGE.
