THE BEST- WORTH THE $$$

Comments about Alpinestars S-MX 2 Motorcycle Boots:
I absolutely love these boots. So worth the money even though I'm just a beginner. Was criticized by friends for spending so much but now everybody wants some just like mine. Give excellent footing and you don't have to worry about laces getting caught on gear shift. Was initially worried about the thickness on top and afraid I wouldn't be able to feel when upshifting. They never skid and the groove on the bottom fits perfectly on the foot peg. Tried to ride the other day without them and was no good. They are pretty chunky and not the most comfortable to wear after riding......I can do an hour at the most. Keep tennis shoes in saddlebags just in case. Zipper, Velcro, & ankle latch....this shoe isn't going anywhere. Can get a little tight sometimes but the latch is adjustable.

They do fit a little large. I bought the same size as my s-mx 5's and they were huge, had to get a size and a half lower. The only negative about these is that at first they are really uncomfortable, so much that my left foot actually hurt the first few times I wore them, which was very frustrating at first. However, after a little over a week they felt much better and after about three weeks they are as comfy as a tennis shoe. In fact as long as you don't plan on running you can wear these casually. Full protection for the ride and stylish and comfortable for after it. Fantastic boot, just be ready for a difficult break-in period.
