Only reason why I say this fits a little larger is because the "small" is still a little loose on me. But then again I'm a small guy, 5'8" 125lbs. The chest fits me fine but the rib cage area is loose. I don't think this is a flaw on the product but would be nice if they made an extra small.

Aside from fitment, it fits well under a jacket and even my RS taichi suit which I had custom tailored to my size. THe vest is still able to fit under the suit though even though it's pretty "race" tight on me. It was a bit tricky for me to get the vest on without the back sliding up over my neck, but you just have to put the back protector down and it's fine. I also left the original foam back protector from my suit on so it'll probably fit even better without that on. Overall I'm pleased with the product and hopefully I can gain a little meat to fill in the extra space around my ribs.
