Comments about Alpinestars Web Gore-Tex Motorcycle Boots:
These caught my eye with their wide toe box. If you have wide feet, these should work for you.

My last pair of Alpinestars Gore-Tex boots lasted over 10 years (many miles) and always kept my feet comfortable and dry. I think these will do the same. Watch the size. I ordered a Euro 45 which I have seen elsewhere translates to about a 11 1/2 US equivalent. However, the label in the boot says these 45 Euro boots are 10 1/2 US. I tried them on and they fit great. I wear between 11 and 11 1/2 US. My advice is to go by the Euro size when ordering and check the US conversion with another size chart. The Alpinestars US sizes appear to be off. The boots are very stiff right now, as expected. I expect they will break in and be as comfortable as my last boots. I'm happy with the purchase.
The best bang for your buck.

This is my second purchase of these boots. I bought my first pair 13 years ago. I put 82,000+ miles on them. They never leaked or became uncomfortable. I actually have stood in the Colorado river, the Atlantic Ocean, and the Pacific Ocean with them, again no leaks. A serious touring rider will get a lot more than their money's worth with these excellent boots. The only reason I finally bought this pair is I have worn a hole in the left boot where my shift lever contacts it.
So far so good!

I ride in the rain alot so needed a water proof boot. Have for years used differnt brands of Wellington style boots but never could get them water tight and they were heavy. So I thought I would try the Alpinestars. I'm sure they would be waterproof but was concerned about hot weather riding. I just returned from a 5k trip, 106 degress in Pecos, TX. These boots were cooler than my old Wellington type. Very, very happy with them. Only a few thunderstorms on the way so I can't really say as to hard rain worthiness.
