The bags are very good and just as advertised. They are large enough to hold the essentials allowing for all weather riding. The snap fasteners are a great touch making it very easy to get into the bags. My old set of bags had only the buckle which made access more difficult. Great value for the money.

Ok, its ok as far as the feel and look goes. It will serve it's purpose well. I modified mine to a permanent attachment, bolting it on. The bags look good from a distance,but they have a purse like 'feel' to it. You will want to check the mount position to make sure they dont shift or move or touch any exhaust pipes etc. The buckel part is a cover for the plastic snap together fastener behind it.
For a price point set of luggage it will work. Make sure you have some kind of barrier so that it wont rub against the wheels. Either fab or modify so that something keeps the bags from just hanging and making contact with the wheel when loaded with gear.

This is just what I needed for my lunch box & quart thermos. I even hauled a case of oil home with it. The quick release clips are handy. I can even work them with my bike gloves on. And finally something made in America! Thanks.
