Whether it’s a Dirtbike, Sportbike, or an Enduro/Dual Sport Motorcycle you ride, no one can argue that the Arai XD'4 Dual Sport Motorcycle Helmet is probably the best head protection you can have with you. Aside from offering the best protection, Arai also hits big with some of the best features like design, ventilation, comfort, functionality and quality and its available in a large range of styles and colors from solids to pro-rider replicas. Don't go riding without one! Features - New exhaust ports added to the top diffuser vents nearly double the airflow while using the same (4) 10mm vent holes in the helmet shell - The ability to increase performance from existing designs is typical of Arai’s evolutionary thinking - New shell shape for better aerodynamic stability at higher street speeds, works in concert with the high-flow peak.

Comments about Arai XD'4 Explore Solid Dual Motorcycle Helmet:
Hi all,I was looking around for this helmet, having tried one on at a local gathering of GS Adv. riders. I was ready to buy an XL, but a guy I was sitting next to told me that XL was his "normal" size and it was too tight. I ordered an XXL and it's perfect! This helmet can do it all - I'm glad that with the Arai "sale" price and the AMA discount, I got the helmet at a better price than I could have found anywhere else!
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Arai should provide the liners and cheek pads to ensure proper fit at no cost. This is a top of the line helmet, you should be able to buy it in the correct size without paying extra for the correct fit.
Another great helmet from Arai

I had an Arai XD3 and loved it so when the XD4 came out I had to give it a try. The vents have been improved and the airflow is even better. I bought my first XD to wear while adventure touring and like it so much I started wearing all the time (i.e. when trail riding on my KTM450). Instead of goggles I wear Bobster sunglasses and the setup is really awesome. If you are an adventure rider this is the ticket.
