Bolted right onto my 1985 Vmax, hooked up the battery and it fired right up, spun the motor easily! Very solid construction and installation was easy as could be. This was my first Bike Bandit purchase and I didn't get charged until the unit shipped and it was delivered within 8 days! VERY SATISFIED!!!

Better Than OEM

The starter fit perfectly went on fairlty easy and no leaks. The design had bolts not phillips screws as does the OEM part making it possible to take apart for brush replacement or rebuilding.

Service and delivery comments:

Quick delivery and paetrs that fit.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

      Thanks for your question.

      We do sell a lot of these for the Yamaha models and they work just fine. Some customers tend to say the Arrowhead starters are great repacement over the OEM version.

      Thanks for your question! Item: 2735376 will be the correct starter for your model. These will be a great replacement starter at a fraction of the OEM cost. Arrowhead also offers rebuild kits for their starters long after the OEM has been discontinued.
